The First Place Loan program gives
qualified veterans the edge they need to purchase a home. Affordable, below
market interest rates allow prospective veterans to obtain mortgage
financing in a competitive market.
A qualified
veterans means any veteran who;
a. Served on active duty, and;
b.
Applied for
financing within 25 years after the date on which the veteran left active
service.
c. Veteran’s status must
be documented by a DD Form 214, Certificate of Release or Discharge From
Active Duty. Active duty veterans must obtain a statement of service signed
by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or unit commander
or higher headquarters showing date of entry on current active duty.
Individual veterans may also be
eligible for an interest free, forgivable cash assistance second mortgage
loan for 3% of the first mortgage loan amount. The second loan will help
with down payment and closing costs.
Qualifying is easy. You must be
income-eligible, and have qualifying credit.
Any FHA, VA, USDA/Rural Development or
Fannie Mae MyCommunityMortgage®
30-year conventional mortgage may be
used under the rules of the program.

throughout the state of Missouri.
