The First Place Loan program gives qualified veterans the edge they need to purchase a home.  Affordable, below market interest rates allow prospective veterans to obtain mortgage financing in a competitive market.

A qualified veterans means any veteran who;

a. Served on active duty, and;

b. Applied for financing within 25 years after the date on which the   veteran left active service.

c. Veteran’s status must be documented by a DD Form 214, Certificate of    Release or Discharge From Active Duty. Active duty veterans must obtain a statement of service signed by, or by direction of, the adjutant, personnel officer, or unit commander or higher headquarters showing date of entry on current active duty.

Individual veterans may also be eligible for an interest free, forgivable cash assistance second mortgage loan for 3% of the first mortgage loan amount.  The second loan will help with down payment and closing costs.

Qualifying is easy.  You must be income-eligible, and have qualifying credit.

Any FHA, VA, USDA/Rural Development or Fannie Mae MyCommunityMortgage®  30-year conventional mortgage may be used under the rules of the program.

This program is available for homes throughout the state of Missouri.
