Concordia Chamber plans opening ceremony for Willow Point Apartments
The Concordia Area Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon, Thursday, July 24, to mark the opening of the new Willow Point Apartments. The complex was developed by Capstone Development, Inc., of St. Louis and includes 14 one-bedroom apartments and 16 two-bedroom apartments.
The Missouri Housing Development Commission joined the City of Concordia in financing the development. MHDC provided a $627,000 federal HOME loan at one percent for 30 years and $211,000 in federal and state Rental Housing Tax Credits. The city provided a $248,726 Community Development Block Grant from the Department of Economic Development to help finance the development.
