Ceremonies to mark opening of new affordable senior apartments in
Kirksville
St. Andrew’s Apartments, part of the new Kirksville Senior Living
Campus will be dedicated during a grand opening celebration from 1-4
p.m., Sunday, Aug. 17. The dedication ceremony is slated for 1:30 p.m.
The complex, located at 500 Osteopathy Drive includes 50 units of new
housing for seniors.
Missouri Housing Development Commission joined in partnership with
McCormack Baron Salazar, St. Andrew’s Management Services, the
Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Kirksville community
to complete the project. MHDC financing includes $1,147,500 loan at 4.5
percent for 30 years, an additional $500,000 MHDC loan at 1 percent for
30 years and $312,000 in federal and state Rental Housing Tax Credits.
