NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
HOME Repair Program
The
Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) hereby notifies interested
applicants of the availability of funds for repair and rehabilitation of
owner-occupied homes, as follows:
$2,500,000 of Federal HOME Funds
Eligible applicants: Nonprofit agencies, regional planning commissions, and
municipal entities serving all non-metropolitan areas of the state of
Missouri. These include all communities with the exception of those in the
metropolitan areas of St. Louis, Kansas City, St. Joseph, Springfield,
Joplin and Columbia.
$2,500,000 of Federal HOME Funds
Eligible applicants: Nonprofit agencies, regional planning commissions, and
municipal entities serving all DREAM designated communities, and
specifically targeting home repair in those neighborhoods immediately
surrounding the core downtown areas.
This
funding is available to nonprofit agencies, regional planning
commissions, and municipal entities that will undertake the eligible
activities on behalf of low- and moderate-income families in eligible areas.
Administration Costs of up to 10% of each project will be reimbursed to each
agency upon the completion of each project.
Applications for funding will be accepted by MHDC until
4:30 p.m. CDT on
Thursday, September 10, 2009. Decisions
regarding proposals will be made by the commission at their meeting in
December 2009.
