Notice of Funding Availability
 

HOME Repair Program

The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) hereby notifies interested applicants of the availability of funds for repair and rehabilitation of owner-occupied homes, as follows:

Eligible applicants:  Not-for-profit agencies/regional planning commissions serving all non-metropolitan areas of the State of Missouri.  These include all communities with the exception of those in the metropolitan areas of St. Louis, Kansas City, St. Joseph, Springfield, Joplin and Columbia.

Eligible applicants:  Not-for-profit agencies/regional planning commissions serving all metropolitan areas of the state of Missouri, to include St. Louis, Kansas City, St. Joseph, Springfield, Joplin and Columbia.

Eligible applicants:  Not–for-profit agencies/regional planning commissions serving all DREAM designated communities, and specifically providing home repair in those areas immediately surrounding the core downtown areas.

This funding is available to not-for-profit organizations that will undertake the eligible activities on behalf of low and moderate income families in eligible areas.

Applications for funding will be accepted by MHDC until 4:30 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, October 3, 2007.  Decisions regarding proposals will be made by the Commission at their meeting in December 2007.
