HOME Repair Opportunity Program

The Home Repair Opportunity (HeRO) Program provides funding to meet the growing need for home repair for low and moderate income homeowners. MHDC provides federal HOME funds to selected community partners who operate the program in the region they serve.

The 2007 funding has been allocated to 11 nonprofit community agencies who received a portion of the $1.65 million set aside for the program.

The maximum income for participants in any Missouri county is usually between $36,500 and $54,700 for a family of four. Participating agencies can provide you with more information about the income limits. Contact these agencies for more information and to register for the program. This Web site does not contain application forms to be completed by homeowners.

Eligible homeowners may receive cash assistance up to $20,000 for repairs.
