NOTICE OF FUNDING AVAILABILITY
FOR THE
MISSOURI HOUSING TRUST FUND

The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) hereby notifies interested sponsors of the funding availability of $3,750,404 of Missouri Housing Trust Funds (MHTF). Housing Trust Fund monies shall be used to financially assist, in whole or in part, by loans or grants, the development of housing stock and to provide housing assistance to very low income families. All individuals or families assisted by MHTF funds must have income at or below 50% of the median family income for the geographic area, adjusted for family size. At least half of the funds must be used to assist families whose income is at or below 25% of the median family income for the geographic area, adjusted for family size.

MHDC will accept applications until 5:00 p.m. on December 1, 1997. MHDC will attempt to select proposal applications that effect a fair geographic distribution; are consistent with the appropriate Consolidated Plan, and are within the limitation of the funds that are available.
