COMMISSION ELECTS NEW OFFICERS

[Jefferson City] William H. "Bud" Creech, Jr. of Troy was unanimously elected for a second term as Chairman during the Annual Meeting of theMissouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) May 21.

The Commission also unanimously elected Lieutenant Governor Roger B. Wilson as the new Vice Chairman and Commissioner Darryl T. Jones as the new Secretary, Treasurer for MHDC. Mr. Wilson assumes the position previously held by Commissioner Thomas Becker while Mr. Jones replaces State Treasurer Bob Holden. Attending and voting during the proceedings were Governor Mel Carnahan, Chairman Creech, Lieutenant Governor Wilson, State Treasurer Holden, Commissioner Jones and Assistant Attorney General Ron Molteni (voting in an ex officio capacity for Attorney General Jay Nixon).

Mr. Creech has been a member of the Commission since April 1996. He is Chairman of Creech Brothers Truck Lines in Troy. Mr. Jones is a partner at America's Center Catering in St. Louis. Mr. Becker leaves the Commission after serving since October 1995. State Treasurer Holden will continue to serve on the Commission by virtue of his office.
