NECAC CELEBRATES OPENING OF NEW SENIOR APARTMENTS IN LOUISIANA
[Kansas City] -- The North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) celebrates the opening of the Tella Jane Senior Village Apartments in Louisiana with a ribboncutting and open house at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 25.
The $1.1 million was financed with a $270,000 federal HOME Community Housing Development Organization loan and $550,000 grant through the Missouri Housing Development Commission. NECAC also received a $52,152 federal low-income housing tax credit and a $10,430 tax credit to help produce equity for the development.
MHDC is Missouri's housing finance agency. MHDC administers several different programs aimed at providing safe, quality affordable housing to low and moderate income citizens of Missouri.
