REALTORS AND LENDERS BENEFIT FROM FREE TRAINING PROGRAM
[Kansas City, Mo.] -- Missouri Housing Development Commission will hold a free training session for realtors and lenders on their first-time homebuyer programs Feb. 18 in Columbia. The training will be held at the Holiday Inn Select - Executive Centre in the Windsor I Conference Room.
The realtor class is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon. Those persons attending the course will receive three continuing education credits. This course offers realtors the fundamentals of the MHDC's Mortgage Revenue Bond Program and Downpayment Assistance Program. These classes will include information on maximum income calculation, target areas, maximum sales price limitations, and other information necessary to help people buy a home.
Realtors interested in attending should reserve seating by obtaining a registration form from MHDC by calling 816-795-6806 or at www.mhdc.com. The form must be filled out and faxed back to MHDC at 816-759-6803 to ensure a reservation.
MHDC will also offer its MRB Lenders' Training at 2-6 p.m. in the same location. Lenders not currently participating in the Mortgage Revenue Bond program are invited to attend this training. Those lenders presently participating may wish to send new employees, or those employees who have not previously attended training. Reservations also should be submitted.
Both classes will also be offered in Kirksville in June and Bethany in October. Training class information and other information about MHDC programs can be accessed through their web site at www.mhdc.com.
