Governor Carnahan proclaims June 3-10 as Missouri Homeownership Week Missouri Governor Mel Carnahan has proclaimed June 3-10 as Missouri Homeownership Week.. The Missouri observance corresponds to the national observance of Homeownership Week sponsored by The National Partners in Homeownership. In the proclamation, the governor commends "the efforts of all citizens who strive to "Make the American Dream a Reality in the 21st Century," the theme for this year's observance.
