Gov. Bob Holden has appointed Gary D. Collins of Jefferson City to the Missouri Housing Development Commission.
Collins, 49, replaces Susan Rollins, who resigned.
"I’m pleased to appoint Gary to this important commission," Holden said. "Good housing is vital for all Missourians, including those on limited incomes. Gary’s financial background and expertise will be a tremendous asset in this position."
Collins is senior vice president of Exchange Bank and a former assistant treasurer for the State of Missouri. He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Southwest Missouri State University.
The Missouri Housing Development Commission works to provide quality, safe, affordable housing for low- and moderate-income citizens of Missouri.
