Governor’s Conference on Housing offers new ideas in affordable
housing
Housing professionals and Missouri citizens have the
opportunity to learn the latest developments in affordable
housing at the 2002 Governor’s Conference on Housing, Tuesday,
March 26 and Wednesday, March 27 Holiday Inn Select-Executive
Center, I-70 at Stadium Blvd., in Columbia, Mo. The conference
will include workshops on Rental Housing Development,
Financing Homeownership, Rural Housing Issues and New Trends
in Affordable Housing. Mortgage Revenue Bond training sessions
will be offered for lenders and realtors.
Conrad Egan, Executive Director of Millennial Housing, will be
the conference keynote speaker. Governor’s Awards for
Excellence in Affordable Housing will be presented during the
luncheon on Wednesday.
Missouri Housing Development Commission with the aid of state
agencies, social service providers and professional
associates, is sponsoring the Governor’s Conference on
Housing. The conference attracts a variety of participants
including representatives from local government, private
industry, nonprofit organizations, financial institutions,
social service agencies and housing advocates from across the
states.
