Commission offers opportunity for public comments on Tax Credit plan

 

 

The Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) will hold public hearings July 16 on modifications to the 2003 Qualified Allocation Plan for administration of the Low Income Housing Tax Credit.  The plan details how Housing Tax Credits will be allocated and the procedures for the allocation. The hearings will be held in Kansas City, Columbia and St. Louis at the following locations:

“We are very interested in hearing what people have to say about our draft of the plan,” said Erica Dobreff, MHDC Executive Director.

 

The draft plan is scheduled to be presented to the entire Missouri Housing Development Commission for approval during their Aug. 16 monthly meeting in Kansas City and will guide the allocation of Housing Tax Credits for 2003

 

All persons having an interest in commenting about the plan will be given an opportunity to be heard.  Dobreff recommends that all of those appearing in person provide written transcripts of their testimony.  MHDC staff will also receive written comments at their Kansas City Office:
