MHDC administers rental housing production programs including the federal and state low income housing tax credits. Funds for rental production programs also consist of MHDC fund balances and federal "HOME" funds. At least 10 percent of HOME funds are set aside for Community Housing Development Organizations (CHDO).

At the public hearings, MHDC staff will describe the developments under consideration, field inquiries regarding the developments, and accept and record public comments.  Any interested party may attend the hearing to submit verbal or written comments and/or submit written comments to Missouri Housing Development Commission, 3435 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64111, or through the office of the mayor or chief elected official of the locality in which the development is located.

Persons who wish to attend this hearing and require specific aids or services under the Americans with Disabilities Act, must notify Catherine Hamlin, (816) 759-6822, at least three working days prior to the hearing to make arrangements.
