Commission offers opportunity for public comments on
allocation plans
The
Missouri Housing Development Commission (MHDC) will hold
public hearings July 18-19 on modifications to the 2007
Qualified Allocation Plan (QAP) for administration of the
Low Income Housing Tax Credit and the plan for
administration of the Missouri Housing Trust Fund (MHTF).
The QAP details how Rental Housing Tax Credits will be
allocated and the procedures for the allocation. The MHTF
plan discusses how funds will be allocated to agencies
providing housing services. The hearings will be held at

The draft
plans are scheduled to be presented to the entire Missouri
Housing Development Commission for approval during their Aug. 19
monthly meeting in St. Louis and will guide the allocation of
Housing Tax Credits and MHTF funds for 2006. All persons having
an interest in commenting about the plan will be given an
opportunity to be heard. Staff recommends that all of those
appearing in person provide written transcripts of their
testimony. MHDC staff will also receive written comments at
their Kansas City Office:
