MHDC Programmatic Notice

On July 7, 2008, Governor Blunt signed into law comprehensive Missouri immigration reform legislation (H.R. 1549).  This programmatic notice is intended for the express purpose of notifying the Missouri Housing Development Commission’s (“MHDC”) industry partners of the new law which should be contemplated when responding to a MHDC request for proposal or applying for MHDC funding.  The effective date of the law is August 28, 2008, however, there are portions of the law which do not become operational until January 1, 2009.  Please contact your legal counsel for detailed information about the specific provisions of this law and its applicability to you and your organization.
