> Occupancy Submission


MHDC requires monthly occupancy reporting to help MHDC staff better understand development and market areas that are having occupancy difficulty. All properties involved in the MHDC Fund Balance, Low Income Housing Tax Credit, and HOME programs with 13 or more units must submit monthly occupancy statistics.

Occupancy Submission Policy

  1. Occupancy information must be submitted through MHDC’s Asset Management Reporting System (AMRS) https://amrs.mhdc.com by the 10th of each month. A user name and password is required to access this system.

  2. Properties are required to report the number of vacant units for each bedroom size and provide the number of people listed on the property’s waiting list.

  3. If the reported occupancy is below 85%, the property will be required to answer additional questions to better explain the reasons for the underperforming occupancy. Note: A property must be reported on the commission watch list if occupancy is below 85% for three consecutive months.
