MHDC Rent Increase Appeal Process
 

Owners that wish to appeal a decision made by MHDC to amend or deny a rent increase request must submit their appeal in writing within 30 days from the date of the initial decision letter. Appeals must include additional information for consideration. The appeal process is your opportunity to provide additional information that you hope would change the outcome of our decision.

MHDC bases rent increases on the approved budget and will not accept amended budgets through the rent increase process. The project may request, at anytime, the documentation used by MHDC to process the rent increase. Appeals will be processed within 30 days of the receipt of all necessary documentation.

The next allowable rent increase effective date is one year from the date of the final determination of rents.
