Manager’s Message April 12, 2005
RE: Properties financed with an MHDC loan
Management Certifications/Profiles
Dear Owners/Managers:
I want to thank you all for your patience and participation in our
transition from Management Agreements to Management Certifications/Profiles.
Please make note of the following clarifications as you move forward with
these new forms:
1. The Management Profile should only be completed once. This form is
related to a management company and not a project. The only time you should
update the profile is when information changes or the profile is more than 2
years old. MHDC will maintain a copy on file and will apply the information
to all properties relative to the management company.
2. When submitting training certificates, please attach a summary page
describing those employees and their positions with the company. Feel free
to attach certificates for any employees within your management company with
program training. For those companies that rely on Senior Management to
train site staff after attending 3rd party training, please also include an
outline of “in-house” training provided by Senior Management and what
qualifications the Senior Manager has in order to provide this training.
3. Please be detailed when completing the required forms and/or supplemental
documents. When “yes” or “no” questions ask for explanation and the
explanation is not provided, the documents will be returned to you for
follow up. To avoid delays, please ensure the detail is provided with the
original submission.
4. Keep in mind that MHDC, as the lender, has the authority to deny a
management company. It is in the management company’s best interest to
ensure that an executed copy of the Certification and Profile are received
from MHDC prior to providing services. Management fees will not be permitted
from operations until an approved Certification/Profile are on file.
As a final note: Please make visiting our Asset Management webpages a part
of your daily routine. We use this “electronic communication” as a means of
reaching a large group of people quickly and hope that you find it helpful.
The “Manager’s Message” is a new addition to our website and will be updated
periodically as hot topics arise. Historical updates will be available on
the website and filed by date of issuance. Please provide feedback as you
become accustom to this new format and, as always, we value our partnerships
with each of you.
