MULTIFAMILY RENTAL HOUSING PRODUCTION
PROGRAMS
The Missouri Housing Development Commission
(MHDC) hereby notifies interested parties of the availability of funds for
the production or preservation of affordable rental housing as follows:
Construction/Permanent Loans

Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Funds |

$200,000 HOME CHDO Operating Grant Funds |

Tax Credit Replacement Funds remaining

Additional HOME funds may be available if
funds remain after awards are approved for the second 2009 NOFA round in
August. HOME funding awards are subject to federal requirements including
Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements and Section 3 of the Housing &
Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, and the regulations in 24 CFR
135.

Federal Disaster Low Income Housing Tax
Credits are available to interested applicants who will rehabilitate or
construct new rental housing units for low and moderate income families and
individuals in the counties of:

Applications for funding will be accepted by MHDC
until 4:30 pm Central on
November 6, 2009. Decisions regarding
proposed developments are expected to be made during the month of February
2010. Deadlines are subject to change at the discretion of MHDC.

ask all applicants with access to the internet to visit our web site at
www.mhdc.com to obtain the 2010 Qualified Allocation Plan, Developer’s Guide,
and Application Forms and Checklist. These documents are also available on

A
separate application must be submitted to request AHAP tax credits as part of
the financing package of a proposed development.
All proposals must be prepared using the application form dated June 2009 and
must be submitted to the office of the Missouri Housing Development Commission
