MULTIFAMILY RENTAL HOUSING PRODUCTION
PROGRAMS
The Missouri Housing
Development Commission (MHDC) hereby notifies interested parties of the
availability of funds for the production or preservation of affordable
rental housing as follows:

HOME funding awards are subject to federal requirements including
Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements and Section 3 of the Housing &
Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, and the regulations in 24 CFR
135.

2012 federal 9% LIHTC credits - $4,500,000 has been reserved for the
Joplin, MSA and $500,000 has been reserved for the City of Berkley, St.
Louis County, MO. |

Joplin, MSA and $500,000 has been reserved for the City of Berkley, St.
Louis County, MO. |

Application Due Dates
|
Applications for
the Joplin, MSA and the City of Berekley, St. Louis County, MO will be
accepted by MHDC until 4:30 PM CDT on Friday, October 14, 2011
October 21, 2011. The
targeted date for presentation of the recommended applications will be
the December 2011 commission meeting.

Applications for
the remainder of the state and any remaining applications for Joplin and
Berekley will be accepted by MHDC until 4:30 PM CST on Monday, November
14, 2011. The targeted date for presentation of the recommended
applications will be the February 2012 commission meeting. |
We ask all applicants with access the links below to obtain the Qualified
Allocation Plan, Developer’s Guide, and 2012 Application Forms and
Checklist. These documents are also available on CD-R. To request an

A separate application must be submitted to request AHAP tax credits as part
of the financing package of a proposed development. The amount of AHAP
Credits Available is Subject to Legislative Action.
All proposals must be prepared using the 2012 Rental Production application
form dated August 2011 and must be submitted to:
